Energy and Solar Dispatcher (Full Time)
15 lightyears is looking for a Dispatcher to join the Orlando based “Crew” to support with new home field inspections and solar energy installations. The dispatcher’s prime responsibility will be logistics, scheduling field technicians, administrative duties, and customer service. Dispatcher should have excellent customer service and decision making skills. This position requires previous experience in contracting, field work, scheduling or construction with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, Solar, Energy Trades etc. On the job training will be provided.

Work with Field Supervisor and Construction Site Superintendents to maintain a daily service schedule and dispatch technicians in a timely and efficient manner to maximize productivity.
Communicate with Field Technicians after each job to maintain proper reports, flow of work and high quality submittals. Maintain solid communication throughout day.
Receive and respond to email inquiries or job related requests and respond in timely fashion to keep customers updated of work status.
Maintain Customer Job Scheduling Portal (ie. SupplyPro, JPS, IHMS) to ensure jobs are selected as accepted and completed in a timely fashion. Enter job notes, and follow up within the DESCO software program.
Assist with warehouse supply inventory ordering and reconciling.
Assist Office Manager with billing and job accounting.
Maintain satisfactory job performance of field technicians.
Answer company phone and direct inquiries to the proper staff member.
Assist with field related operations and logistics.
Qualifications and Required Skills
High School Diploma, GED, Associates Degree Preferred
Direct work experience or sufficient training/education in construction, scheduling, dispatching, contracting, and field operations with HVAC, Electrical, Solar, Energy Trades.
Ability to pass drug test and background check.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with customers, partners, and other crew members via phone, email, text.
Excellent problem solving.
Candidate must have strong supervisory skills, self-sufficient familiar with customer database control and a solid understanding for successful time management.
Strong multi-tasking, organization and record-keeping skills.
Proficiency with Dropbox, Google Docs, Microsoft office, customer databases mobile apps, and tablets.
Excellent phone attitude and cheerful voice.
Knowledge and familiarity of Greater Orlando Area
Experience with DESCO or other customer management and scheduling software preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
$24,960 to $31,200 per year based on experience.
