15 lightyears is looking for a motivated candidate to join our fast growing electrical department. Candidate should be a strong independent worker and motivated to learn and work at a fast growing company.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience as an electrician

• Self-provided tools (Tool deduction optional)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid Driver’s License with safe and responsible driving record

• All Crew members must be able to pass drug test and background check

• Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, crawl spaces, etc.)

• Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical Apprenticeship Program Graduate

• Electrical License

• Solar Installation Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install generators

• Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)

• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)

• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components

• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them

• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.

• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects.

• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures

• Pulling inventory for each installation job

• Document completion of completed installation

• Clean up of job site

• Additional duties required as needed
